Andreas Laskaris is a Greek architect and designer whose interests and past experiences encompass restoration, furniture and interior design, set design, and scenography. Inspired by sustainability and contextual awareness, his projects aim to integrate reuse and upcycling into narrative and storytelling endeavors.
Andreas earned his Architect Engineer diploma from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 2020 and has since been exploring the intersections of various disciplines. Alongside some classmates, he co-founded the artist collective XYZZY in Thessaloniki, and has worked in architecture in both Greece and Spain. Additionally, Andreas has contributed as a draftsman and set designer for two films produced by the international company Millennium Media. In 2022, Andreas furthered his education by enrolling in the MAIA program at HEAD – Genève from which he graduated in 2024. He has showcased his work in several collective exhibitions, including the 2019 Tirana Design Week, the 17th International Biennale of Venice in 2021, the Copenhagen Kulturnatten in 2023, and the Milano Design Week in 2024.

P!DLM
P!DLM is a project that delves into the intersections of installation art, set design, and film production, while exploring both traditional and contemporary alpine architecture and its surrounding landscape.
Using tools like artificial intelligence, digital fabrication, and ceramics, and employing various media such as models, sketches, technical drawings, and illustrations, the project aims to bring to life the world of the renowned Swiss literary piece La Grande Peur Dans la Montagne by Charles Ferdinand Ramuz. The work draws from the original story—a cautionary tale about the conflicts between humanity and nature, modernity and tradition —to explore issues of sustainability, climate change, and greed. Through its spatial interpretation, it vividly portrays the perpetual struggle between human and non-human forces, creating a narrative that resonates with timeless themes and contemporary concerns.
