Interior Landscape: UNIGE

Geneva, January 2019

The “Interior Landscape” studio looked this semester at the renovation of the hall of the Faculty of Sciences – University of Geneva. The entrance hall aims to become the new core of the building and students should design an attractive, modern and friendly reception area.

One of the challenges was to link the accesses of the two main entrances (Sciences II et III), to form a single space of passage, work and meeting. In each of the projects, students sought a certain radicality of atmospheres, considering the historical, urban, technical and social issues of the site.

Five proposals have emerged, one of which is under of a feasibility study.
