Roman villa in Hyère, France
Workshop HEAD-Geneva and Camondo School, Toulon.
Students were ask to build temporary structures within the Roman Villa in Hyères, a former neoclassical residence from 1880 and currently classified as a historical heritage. Retracing the history of the villa, the installations responded to the site’s unique atmosphere, blurring the boundaries between domestic space and public space, between exterior and interior, between the past and the present.
