Roberto Zancan

Roberto Zancan, Research Doctor and Professor of history and theory. He has been Research Coordinator at the UNESCO Chair in Heritage and Urban Regeneration at the IUAV University, Venice, Head Curator of the Inside the Academy programme with the BE OPEN Foundation, Deputy-director of DOMUS, the monthly architecture, design and art magazine, Professor of history and theory of environmental design at UQAM University and Associate Researcher at the Canadian Centre for Architecture in Montreal. Founder of the environmental group Ground Action, he wrote Spazialismi italianiand Corrispondenze: Teorie e storie dal landscape. He has also been the designer of the HPO laboratory for the renovation and creative design of the former Misericordia e Dolce di Prato Hospital; team head and member of the Landworks Sardinia scientific committee; presenter of Urbs Oblivionalis with Elena Pirazzoli, a research project on terrorism in Italy, presented at the Monditalia Section of the Biennale di Architettura di Venezia 2014; and, with Francisco Spadoni, the Natal International Architecture Forum in Natal, under the Instituto de Arquitetos do Brasil, Rio Grande do Norte State.
