Alexandra Miskufova is a Slovak interior architect and designer based in Geneva. She completed her BA in Interior Design at Kingston School of Art in London, where her graduation project Togetherness was shortlisted for the Interior Educators Awards in the ‘Craft and Making’ category in 2021. She trained at various architectural offices in the UK before continuing her studies at HEAD Geneva, where she pursued an MA in Interior Architecture. During her studies, she gained experience in architectural offices in Switzerland and exhibited her student work at Milan Design Week 2024 as part of the exhibition “2084: A Diorama of the Future.”
Her work bridges traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design, focusing on the adaptive reuse of materials, spaces, and buildings. Her diverse background and expertise contribute to a sensitive and versatile approach to design, with a strong emphasis on tactility, a commitment to craft, and traditional methods of making. She is currently developing her practice across various scales of projects, with a particular interest in textiles and weaving.
