Diploma Project
Not Obsolete Anymore

Not Obsolete Anymore! explores lost-use objects from the 18th to the 19th century, serving as precious witnesses to their respective eras. In the not-so-distant past, object creation was more of an art than an industry. Over time, manufacturing techniques and materials have drastically changed compared to previous centuries, rendering some objects obsolete or even disappearing altogether. The project takes a step backward to question the relationship with objects and the way of conceiving them. Not Obsolete Anymore! is a collection realized with local craftsmen, aiming to reintegrate old uses into a contemporary context. Thus, the sugar breaker, the light board, and the watch holder find a place in 21st-century interiors, challenging habits.
