EPIC PICNIC is a festival that celebrates the built heritage and the multiple stories of Geneva.
EPIC PICNIC transforms Hentsch Park into a large-scale neighborhood picnic for the duration of a day and an evening.
EPIC PICNIC is inclusive and welcomes a plurality of visitors of all ages, origins, genders, and spheres of belonging.
EPIC PICNIC explores the city, its history, its heritage, its architecture, and its societal evolution.
EPIC PICNIC features festivities of music, dancing, sports, and leisurely picnicking, while attendees can enjoy chess, pétanque, stargazing, and cinematic screenings.
EPIC PICNIC is organized by MAIA students on the former football field of Charmilles, which is surrounded by historic industrial buildings.
EPIC PICNIC brings people together and highlights the city’s heritage.
